The Bitter Housewife Cocktail Bitters
The Bitter Housewife Bitters are award-winning cocktail bitters, handcrafted in small batches with only the best ingredients for unmistakable flavor. You'll never find flavoring, coloring, or artificial preservatives in anything they make.
The Cardamom Bitters go with just about everything. They often call them duplicitous because they add a lovely depth to sweeter fruit-based drinks, but also blend right in with the smoky characteristics of an anejo tequila or scotch.
The Grapefruit Bitters are my favorite as I love bright, citrusy cocktails, especially with grapefruit - sweet, sour, and bitter all at the same time. However, sometimes to get all the grapefruit flavor you want from juice, it’s just too acidic. That’s where Grapefruit Bitters come in, tons of grapefruit flavor but without the acid. A few dashes will brighten up any cocktail like a squeeze of juice will, but you don’t have to worry about having a grapefruit on hand or adding too much acidity to your drink. The makers have highlighted the floral notes of grapefruit with the addition of hops and then balanced that out with earthy ginger, and rich honey. Grapefruit Bitters are our only bitters sweetened with honey.
Goes great with gin, vodka, and tequila as well as wine spritzers, champagne cocktails, and floral aperitifs like Lillet, St. Germain, or classic dry vermouth.

A bottle of cocktail bitters is generally 35–45% alcohol. Since most bitters are used by dashes or in drops, the amount of alcohol is minuscular, making the ABV difficult to trace. That’s why they’re often marketed as non-alcoholic, although they are made from alcohol.
Bitters can also be purchased online because they are considered an ingredient, not a stand-alone drink where in a lot of states in the U.S. alcohol cannot be shipped to your door, bitters can be.
